A BRIEF HISTORY OF SUNFLORA...
Sunflora has just celebrated is 20th Birthday – and we intend to have a “bit of a do” for our 21st !!  We also intend to continue to build on our twenty year’s reputation for excellent service, quality products, and the best supplier and customer care – without our suppliers and customers we would not exist !!

Many of you who know Sunflora, or who have looked at our web site previously, will know, the company was set up by Keith Russell, a horticulturalist with many years of experience in marketing and overseas development, who also set up and ran Florimex UK 10 years.  Sunflora’s first imports were chrysanthemums from the Canary Islands, followed by Colombian carnations and foliage from Florida – and now twenty years on we import a huge variety of products from all continents of the world !

But our business is not only about profits – it is also about “putting something back” – and to this end we are actively seeking to support small producers groups in developing countries throughout the world. The business is also about the satisfaction and enjoyment in their work of the whole Sunflora team.

To give a broader base to the operation, Clarke & Spears International became an associated company within the Sunflora Group in 1999.  They supply tropical plants, trees and planters to major companies throughout Europe.
